I’m an information pack-rat. I never empty the ‘downloads’ file on my computer, I never clear the recycle bin. And for this reason, I maintain a laptop with two 500 GB HDDs and 12 GB of RAM, and two 250GB external hard disks. (It’s a Toshiba Quosmio and they’re identical Hitachi drives, since I just know somebody will ask.) Because lets be honest, you never know when you’ll need to cross reference something.

I have also, over my short life, maintained a virtual garage. The downloadings of advertisements of cars I have come across that I have found truly special, and that one day I hope to acquire should I win the lottery and have the resources to track them down. This has been both a highly organized and highly unorganized endeavor, as sometimes when I am fishing through the unending pile of hoarded garbage that is my laptop, desktop, or external drives (including more flash-drives I find in more stupid places than I can count...the places and the drives themselves, both stupid and numerous) I stumble across an advertisement I have squirreled away. I built a database of sorts, but then didn’t use it. Anyway, today is your lucky day!

Because I have found, deep within an unorganized file labeled “new folder” a Carmax listing! Upon close inspection, I didn’t remember why I saved some average, dark blue, nothing special about it E65.

Three words: BMW Individual Composition. As rare on an E65 as Designo is on a W220.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Unique shade of blue, special rims with low profile tires, blacked out exterior trim, but that interior is the main attraction: look at the wood trim and the grain it has, and BORDELLO RED LEATHER...IN A 2007 BMW 750iL!

Sorry if that isn’t something that gets everybody excited, but I just think this thing is beyond great. Fully loaded too. Hard to find the luxury rear reclining seat package outside of a 760 with the V12, but that’s another thing that makes this really cool. It’s like a fully loaded S500, most of the fun with a few less engine related headaches...a FEW...less.

That’s actually really cool. Too bad it’s a E65...

Also, Designo/Individual FTW

Never heard of an “Individual Composition” option before, now I have to keep an eye out for one!
